I had a vision for my kitchen. Basic things. And a style that I wanted to live in. Colors were set for the basics - floor, counters, cabinets, appliances. My style is definitely not for everyone. Mid-century is casual and comfortable and colorful. I (we) found the stylist for us in Jaime, and Kevin had great input as well. We worked with them to develop a plan to make the changes needed creating out dream kitchen and in the process update our dining and living rooms.
Kevin is a craftsman and perfectionist and so is Jaime. Their work speaks for itself. When you see one of their projects, you recognize the quality. We were on site during the whole project and got to see all the steps that went into all the pieces and parts of the project. There were add-ons from day one, of course, which they handled with grace and patience.
Attention to detail is incredible-lasers and all. We are so pleased with our remodel and everyone who sees it is gob-smacked!

When I called Proformance Construction in March 2021 about a kitchen remodel, I left a message and the designer Jaime was very prompt at returning my phone call and setting up a time to meet and discuss our plans in the remodel. We met at our house, and talked about what we wanted and she let us know what they can do for us on the construction side. When we were finished with our list of wants, she asked us what our style was and discussed options for cabinets and center island design. She left us with a good feeling about their company and her design experience. Jaime is very prompt in returning phone calls and or emails. We next met at their showroom and we met Kevin who is the construction guru and we discussed more design options so they could get a better idea for the quote. We met again and they gave us a quote and design we were very happy with and we signed on with them. We tentatively scheduled a late August start time so it could be all done in 6 weeks or before fall set in. When the construction started, Kevin and Jaime were very thorough in the demolition and cleaned up the whole work space after every day. Kevin takes pictures and writes a blog so we can see what happened during that days progress.
Proformance did an awesome job on the design and construction of the kitchen. The cabinets, countertops, island, flooring, lighting, and appliances are better than we could have ever imagined. Jaime did an awesome job with the design and setting up all electrical and plumbing contractors, and Kevin is an amazing builder. They are great people to work with and they treat their customers like family. I will recommend Proformance to anyone looking for someone to do any interior remodeling as this is their specialty.

We had been looking for the right people who we could trust for our basement project to help guide us through the entire process. From the very start, we knew we could trust Kevin and Jaime with exceptional design, attention to detail, quality, professionalism, communication, on time and on budget. In the beginning design, Jaime looked for the right design that would brighten the room and offer a new look that we hadn't been thinking of that in the end is beyond what we could have ever imagined. Jaime was always communicating on updates and guiding us through the process. During the construction, Kevin and Jaime's craftmanship and quality quickly showed through and we knew we had chosen the right crew. They made sure every detail was thought through. I appreciated Kevin and Jaime always looking out for any details that may impact budget and also offering their guidance. They spent a number of late nights to make sure that the project was going to be delivered on time. The space was always cleaned up as expected. During the project, Jaime and Kevin were always willing to include us in decisions and provide their input that in the end always provided that extra look that we hadn't been thinking of. The daily logs and pictures shared each day were also great to see the progress made. We are so happy with the look of the flooring, cabinets, lighting, countertop, and fireplace that they installed. Jaime and Kevin on the last day on site when they were supposed to be cleaning up finished off the space with a much appreciated surprise that we didn't expect! I shouldn't be surprised because that's just the kind of people they are. Always willing to go beyond to make the space have that "wow" factor. They truly are remarkable at what they do and were a joy to work with. We're so glad that we chose Proformance Construction for our project and would highly recommend them for any remodeling needs. Could not be happier with the outcome of our bathroom/laundry room remodel. We had a hard time finding the right people to do what we wanted to do until we found Proformance Construction.
We felt a connection with Kevin and Jaime as soon as we met them. There professionalism and personalities made the entire process every simple. They literally take care of all the hard work for you. When they first came to our home to scope our ideas for what we wanted, they were very straight-forward and told us what can work, what can't work, and how much costs would be for each idea we had, which made it very easy for us to decide our design, plus Jaime can imagine a room extremely fast and come up with great design ideas.
The do an excellent job with estimating cost and time for completion. Our project came a little over the estimated price, as we added a couple things, but it was spot on cost wise. The stated project would be complete in 2 1/2 week, and they were completed in 2 1/2 weeks. They also kept us very informed each day on how project came along each day, as well as any issues that needed fixing along the way, luckily there was only 1.
I would recommend Kevin and Jamie to anyone looking for a home improvement project. We miss welcoming them to our home each day, but plan on having them back in the future for a kitchen remodel. ~ L. and T. Shofner
It isn't often that one will declare construction or remodeling to be a joyful experience but I have no other way to describe our kitchen/bath remodel. Kevin and Jaime are delightful to work with, from the planning stages through the finishing. We were always included in decisions and updated regularly on any changes or delays. Their workmanship is top notch and they go out of their way to help personalize your space so that it reflects your personality. Jaime told us once that she wanted us to be able to continue living our lives and not have to worry about anything and that was definitely the case- we could put our trust in her hands and she made sure all was done as we wished. We had a kitchen remodel performed by Kevin and Jaime earlier this year. From the beginning the process was unlike any other construction process I have been associated with. The whole of our interactions felt more like a relationship with two friends rather than a business transaction. Jaime and Kevin's level of communication, whether it was in person, via their app, or by phone was excellent, and this, outside of their quality of work, is their greatest asset. There is nothing more frustrating than having your kitchen torn apart by a contractor and not having any idea when things are going to be completed. That was not the case with Proformance. Jaime and Kevin will create a timeline, have the supplies on hand (or at least ordered ahead time), and work only your project. When they say they will be at your house, they will be there. When they said it would take 6 weeks to do the project, it took 6 weeks. Even when there were challenges with the availability of certain supplies they stayed in constant contact to let us know the status of the situation, and at no time did we feel we were getting the run around.
Obviously, it is nice to be treated well as a customer but, lets face it, if the quality of the product is not there and you feel like you did not get the value you were looking for in your purchase, that "nice" feeling soon fades away. Jaime and Kevin are not just nice people, they are talented construction and design professionals. We witnessed first hand the thought and work that Kevin put into the hidden floor work that was necessary to reconstruct our new railing so that it would be strong enough for our 21 year old son to sit on it without it moving. No joke, this was a prerequisite of our project and Kevin did the work to make it happen, work that no one will ever see! Overall, our experience with Proformance was as enjoyable an experience as any kitchen remodel could be. We felt like we were active participants in the project to whatever level we wanted to be, the quality of the work was excellent, the cost was within the budget we identified at the beginning of the project, and communication was second to none. We would definitely use Proformance for future projects as well as recommending them to friends.

If anything good came out of 2020, it was definitely finding Proformance Construction to complete the remodel of our master bathroom.
They were reliable and dependable. It was refreshing they showed up on time and delivered as promised. The work was meticulous and they never cut any corners. Every night they took the time to clean the space and prepare it for the next day. Not only did they do the job at hand but throughout the project they offered suggestions and recommendations to improve the usability and ambiance of the space. We worked with a dynamic duo of Jaime and Kevin from Proformance Construction LLC to remodel our master bath and powder room. From beginning to end it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Jaime was always quick in all of her transactions. She kept the project moving forward in a very efficient manner and I always appreciated her quick responses. It was so much fun collaborating with her on design. Kevin and Jaime’s eye for detail really shows in their finished products. They thought of everything! They covered the floors and put protective cushions on the corners to protect them. They set up an app and gave a daily update on what was accomplished on that day as well as pictures of the progress. Their construction work is pure quality and they work as a great team. After the projects were complete they returned to clean, brought us special cleaning products as well as gifted us with bath towels, a hand towel and Maui body soap. I would highly recommend Proformance Construction. From start to finish, Kevin and Jaime were prompt, professional, and reliable. They were knowledgeable, which was evidenced when we ran into unexpected issues in the remodel. They remained calm, collaborated with their trade partners, and offered us solutions that highlighted their experience. From explaining the process, to the integrity of the materials they use, to the attention to even the smallest detail, they were meticulous. Five stars to Proformance Construction! We hired Kevin and Jaime to remove the wall between the dining room and living room in order to open up the space, along with modernizing the fireplace. Work was progressing nicely on that effort, when Jaime saw an opportunity to remove additional walls around the stairwell to completely open the space. The remodeled stairwell and wall feature was fully customized and executed to perfection by Jaime and Kevin.
The fireplace, saw Jaime and Kevin spending dedicated time laying out tile, in a manner to best showcase the tiled fireplace. Throughout the install, several challenges were presented, but Kevin’s craftsmanship was there to overcome, leading to a fantastic result. During the design process, we shared our rough thoughts of our ideal mantle. From that discussion, Jaime and Kevin were on the hunt for the perfect mantle. Upon finding that perfect beam, they worked their magic, bringing the beam to life for an amazing statement piece.
Additionally, why do just one remodel when you can do two at a time…That’s what we did with Kevin and Jaime! While remodeling our main living space, we decided to continue the effort into a hall bathroom, to dress it up and match the fabulous work happening elsewhere.
Working with Jaime to design the bathroom was fantastic! You can really see her passion for bathroom design and her ability to make them shine! Both she and Kevin executed her vision to a tee with product selections and a custom shower niche. We are thrilled with how stunning the end result is and we’re already looking forward to placing a call and starting on our master bath remodel, to see how they can top what they just finished!
Throughout the projects, Kevin and Jaime were easy to work with, very accommodating of work-from-home schedules and always made time to available to discuss questions and options. At the end of each day, the work area was always cleaned and organized, making these remodels easy to live through.
